'Fanjayas' keep him on 'Idol'

According to the New York Daily News: "American Idol" contestant Sanjaya Malakar has what can only be described as an unusual following - those who want him to win because he's just so bad.

They take a twisted pleasure in skewering the "Idol" call-in vote, keeping him in the running long after he was expected to be gone.

Leading the charge is an Internet site,

Grizzly bears are safe

Grizzly bears in the Yellowstone National Park area no longer need the protections of the federal Endangered Species Act to ensure their survival, U.S. officials said yesterday.

"As a nation, we should be proud of our ability to have preserved a part of our wilderness heritage for future generations," said U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Director Dale Hall.

And just the other day, crocodiles were taken off the Endangered Species list in Florida.

Now if we could all just band together and end global warming.

Paul McCartney recording for Starbucks

Starbucks announced they would form their own record label last week and this week they confirmed their first musician to release an album under the chain’s new Hear Music record label -- Paul McCartney.

"I've been working on it for a little while," McCartney said. "The songs are a little bit retrospective, some are of now, and some hark back to the past. All of them are songs I'm very proud of."

And to think, last week a friend of mine said Starbucks need to do something else to improve business like add ice cream to the stores! But a record label? Wow.
